GO.cam Offers EU-Compliant Age Verification Solution to Adult Platforms

MARSEILLE, France — France-based GO.cam is offering its age verification solution to adult platform operators seeking to comply with requirements of the European Union's new Digital Services Act (DSA).

“With its exceptional speed, the made-in-France GO.cam constitutes a key advantage for operators,” said a rep.

According to the DSA, platforms designated as “very large online platforms” (VLOPs) must strengthen their age verification protocols by February 17.

“This marks a major turning point in industry regulation, with significant implications for the operators of these sites,” the rep noted.

Charging operators 0.03 euros per verification, GO.cam “offers a practical solution tailored to evolving regulatory requirements — ensuring platforms compliance without compromising user experience — by reducing the time required for user age verification,” the rep explained. “This provides operators with an effective means to meet new regulatory expectations without compromising service quality.”

The rep highlighted GO.cam’s double anonymity, which “ensures that the collection of personal data is strictly avoided: no data is transferred to GO.cam or the platform for which GO.cam performs the verification. All verifications are done on the user's device, and no private data circulates in the network for this verification.”

GO.cam relies on the use of a smartphone or computer camera, coupled with locally executed artificial intelligence, to estimate a user's age. If the verification result does not certify that the person is an adult, the system will request a valid identification document.
